Please join me in congratulating Kevin Martin on his promotion to director of Estimating & Pricing, effective immediately.
In this role, Kevin will support the continued capture of new business for Ingalls Shipbuilding. Since 2022, Kevin has served our team as the manager of Estimating & Pricing, overseeing new business proposals including the recent DDG FY23 Multi-Year Procurement (MYP) and DDG 1000 awards.
A 35-year shipbuilder at Ingalls, Kevin began his career in Industrial Engineering. For the last 29 years, he has been an important member of our Business Management team, holding leadership roles over the last 19 years in Estimating & Pricing, Program Finance & Control, and as a program business manager. During that time, Kevin has worked on the NSC, DDG and LPD programs and was a major contributor to multiple awards and achievements, accordingly.
Kevin holds a Bachelor of Arts in finance from Millsaps College and a Master of Business Administration from The University of Southern Mississippi.t
