Ingalls In The Community | Gulf Coast Heart Walk

Ingalls Shipbuilders recently participated in the Gulf Coast Heart Walk in Jones Park in Gulfport. Jason Hinkel, president of ISHIP, led the charge for the volunteer effort

“Heart disease affects everyone in some way,” Hinkel said. “The Gulf Coast Heart Walk is a great way for us to support survivors and remember people we have lost. The money raised will help spread awareness about heart disease and the treatments available”.

Earlier this year, shipbuilders participated in the Jackson County Heart Walk. Both events benefit the American Heart Association. For nearly 100 years, the American Heart Association has been fighting heart disease and stroke and helping families and communities thrive. Ingalls invests in the causes and organizations that are important to shipbuilders and their families.
