We put out the call, and our shipbuilders delivered! The pet food drive resulted in a donation of 1,500 pounds of food and supplies to support the Jackson County Animal Shelter.Â
“Visiting the Jackson County Animal Shelter showed how our donations truly support the animals in their care,” said Brenna Sprinkle, administration generalist, Operations. “It was a rewarding experience, and a reminder of the positive impact Ingalls team members can make.”Â
Events like the pet food drive highlight the strength of Ingalls—shipbuilders coming together to support personal causes they care about and make a difference beyond the yard.Â
“Volunteering with Ingalls Cares to deliver pet food donations was a truly rewarding experience,” said Marla Cooper, manager, Organizational Development. “Supporting such a meaningful effort in our community felt great, and I appreciate having the opportunity to give back.”Â
