As we head into the Thanksgiving holiday, I want to thank all of you for the work you do. Each day, you come to work committed to something bigger than any one shipbuilder. You bring focus, skill and purpose to an industry that is critical to our nation’s security – now more than ever. Our jobs are demanding, but the dedication you bring to doing it right shows in every ship we deliver.Â

Ours is a mission rooted in excellence and in doing what’s right for the warfighters who will one day walk these decks. It’s a mission built on the trust our nation places in us to deliver ships that are built strong and ready to act when freedom depends on it.Â

As we reflect on what we are grateful for this week, let’s also reflect on the strength of our team and on the responsibility our customer has given to us. Every craft, every shift, every department, every role – each person at Ingalls works together to deliver ships our men and women in uniform can rely on when it matters most.Â
