Please join me in congratulating Lewis Pace on becoming the LHA pre-launch ship program Manager, effective immediately. Lewis brings 20 years of shipbuilding knowledge and experience to the LHA team as they build LHA 9 and get the ship ready to launch. In this role, Lewis will be responsible for all aspects of contract execution for the LHA program from startup through launch.
Lewis has served the Ingalls team in many areas of the business, including Supply Chain Management, Production Control and Industrial Engineering. He has direct experience in what our waterfront teams need to be successful as they work toward delivering another critical platform to our Navy.
Lewis holds a Bachelor of Science in industrial engineering from Mississippi State University. He is a past recipient of the Ingalls President’s Award for his work on the USS Makin Island (LHD 8) Integrated Product Team (IPT). He also received recognition in 2017 as One Coast’s Top 10 Under 40 Business Leaders.
