HII reported second quarter earnings on Aug. 1. Mission Technologies accounted for $765 million of HII’s $3 billion in revenues—both quarterly records.
Defense Daily reported: “Mission Technologies again benefited from work on C5ISR, cyber, electronic warfare, and space, which drove a 19% increase in sales, a seventh straight quarterly record, and a tripling in operating income.”
GovCon Wire’s coverage quoted HII President and CEO Chris Kastner as saying: “Mission Technologies achieved another quarter of strong performance and robust growth, which has allowed us to raise our Mission Technologies revenue guidance range for the year.”
