From the jungles of Lop Buri to the mountains of Chiang Mai, Tony Bell has been quietly shaping the future of international military collaboration. As training and operations lead for HII’s Decisive Mission Actions and Technology Services contract, Bell led a series of high-impact training events in Thailand supporting Special Operations Command Pacific.
Over five weeks, Bell and his team delivered four tailored courses to Royal Thai Army Special Forces units, ranging from casualty care and staff development to senior non-commissioned officer professional development, earning praise from military leadership.
“In my experience, these represent the best contractor-led training (courses) I have encountered in the last three years,” a Thailand-based mission partner said.
“Tony’s tenacity, ‘all in’ mentality, mission-focus and strategic relationship-building in just a few short months exemplify true leadership,” said Todd Gentry, president of Mission Technologies’ All Domain Operations group. “I couldn’t be prouder of what he’s accomplished.”
Since taking the role in February 2025, Bell has transformed HII’s training program, expanding the instructor cadre by 225% and aligning every course with strategic priorities. His work has elevated HII’s training brand and deepened trust with mission partners and foreign military leaders.
“Tony was my teammate in 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne),” Jamie Alden, his manager, said. “I knew his talent could elevate this program. We’re lucky he said yes.”
Bell’s work exemplifies how Mission Technologies delivers not just tactical expertise, but strategic alignment and enduring partnerships across the globe.
