Ingalls Shipbuilding proudly serves as the regional sponsor of Extra Table’s March of the Mayors, continuing our commitment to fighting hunger in our community and across the state.
To kick off this year’s campaign, shipbuilders volunteered at The Lord Is My Help in Ocean Springs – an Extra Table partner pantry – packing 120 meals for their Meals on Wheels program. Thank you to everyone who helped kick off this important initiative!
Now, it’s your turn to make an impact!
March of the Mayors is a month-long, community-wide campaign led by Extra Table and Coastal area mayors to fight hunger across Mississippi. Each city collects a different nonperishable food item, and Ingalls is partnering with our Jackson County mayors to collect canned tuna and canned fruit – items that help keep families fed and healthy.
