Two HII Employees Receive Defense Manufacturing Technology Achievement Award

HII Mission Technologies employees Brian Kim and Katherine Krawiec recently received the 2024 Defense Manufacturing Technology Achievement Award for their work on the Department of Defense’s food supply chain management system.

The Subsistence Network project, led by the Defense Logistics Agency and ManTech and integrally supported by Kim and Krawiec, is focused on developing a modern, data-driven system that enhances supply chain visibility and operational readiness.

“This is an awesome accomplishment,” said Kim, a technical engineer. “HII Mission Technologies personnel were critical in realizing the initial concept to project completion of the Joint Food Management System. This project will be foundational in enabling future development of the Department of Defense Subsistence Business system(s).”

Kim and Krawiec shared credit with their All Domain Operations teammates, emphasizing that the project was made possible through the significant contributions of government, industry and support personnel.

Benjamin Craig, their program manager, also praised the team’s work, saying: “I am proud of the high level of expertise our employees offer and the professional work that our team does on a daily basis. They have a direct impact supporting the customer’s mission, and I’m happy that they received some recognition for it.”
