University of Hawaii at Manoa student featured on KHON
Natalie Ching, a data analyst intern at HII Mission Technologies, recently appeared on “Living 808,” a TV show on KHON in Hawaii.
“This internship opened my eyes,” she said. “I realized there are exciting, cutting-edge opportunities right here. I don’t have to leave the islands to have a career that challenges me and makes a difference.”
Ching, a student at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, is supporting the U.S. Army Pacific’s Chief Data Office and the Pacific Intelligence and Innovation Initiative (P3I) program. She appeared on the show with Casey Griffith, USARPAC’s deputy chief of staff.
Ching said she is applying her classroom knowledge to real world defense projects in data analysis, cybersecurity and IT. “I now have a clearer vision of my goals, and I feel prepared to pursue them,” she said.
