With a national blood shortage that directly and critically impacts both Mississippi and Alabama, shipbuilders have a chance to roll up their sleeves, give blood and make an impact in their communities. Only five percent of the population chooses to donate, but 99 percent of the population will take that transfusion in an emergency or when they need it. Give for your community. Give for your family. The blood donations made during Ingalls upcoming blood drives go directly back into our local hospitals, making it available for the people you care about the most.
