Mission Technologies Team Tees Off for Veterans at Honor Flight Golf Tournament

HII Mission Technologies recently sponsored Middle Georgia Honor Flight’s third annual golf tournament.

Ty Curtis, Ross Eaton, Brandt Freeman and Daniel Tucker, Mission Technologies employees in Warner Robins, participated in the event, which raises funds to provide all-expenses-paid trips for veterans to visit memorials in Washington, D.C.

“We had a blast and were not only able to take part in a great event, but also contribute to honoring the veterans who have given so much for our country,” said Tucker, a program manager in Mission Technologies’ All-Domain Operations group. “The guest of honor was a 99-year-old World War II veteran who recently took an honor flight to see the memorials in D.C. We’re proud to be part of a company that values an important cause.”

The Honor Flight program focuses on veterans from World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam era, as well as terminally ill veterans from any conflict.

“By taking part in this annual golf tournament, our team helped raise essential funds to ensure more veterans can embark on this unforgettable journey,” Tucker said. “Their involvement highlights our company’s commitment to supporting those who have sacrificed for our nation. We’re proud to recognize their efforts and celebrate the impact they’ve had. Their dedication embodies the spirit of generosity that defines our workplace, and we look forward to seeing how we can continue making a difference together.”
