Ingalls shipbuilders participated in Bras Across the River, a walk for breast cancer research in Moss Point, on Saturday, October 21.
The walk was across the Jack G. Hanson Memorial Bridge, which crosses the Escatawpa River in Moss Point. The bridge was covered with decorative bras for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Proceeds from the walk will go toward breast cancer research.
“October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month,” said Premo Sabbatini, Vice President of Planning and Development. “Cancer is something that has had an impact on everyone in one way or another, and it’s important for Ingalls to support things like the Breast Cancer Walk to help raise money for cancer research.”
Sarah Smith, Heather Walker, Amber Vice, Premo Sabbatini and Jennifer Horton represented Ingalls Shipbuilding at the 2023 Bras Across the River event in Moss Point.
