Hurricane season is underway, and Ingalls wants to make sure every shipbuilder is prepared.
The company’s heavy weather plan is implemented long before the coastline is threatened, with every storm being carefully monitored and evaluated from the time it forms. Ensuring the safety of shipbuilders before, during and after storm activity is the primary goal of that plan. This includes preparing ahead of time for resources and backup plans to assist shipbuilders during emergencies.
