Ingalls Shipbuilding honored the rich history behind the Juneteenth holiday and celebrated the freedom the day represents for so many by sponsoring free admission to the Two Mississippi Museums.
Shipbuilders, their families and the general public were able to visit the Mississippi Civil Rights Museum and Mississippi Museum of History from June 17-19 at no cost.
Members of Ingalls’ Legacy Builder program visited the museums to immerse themselves in Mississippi’s history to learn more about civil rights and why holidays like Juneteenth are so important.
