What does receiving this award meant to you?
“I am humbled by the support and dedication of my colleagues toward our shared mission, and their unwavering commitment to the success of our veteran and military spouse recruiting and retention efforts, as well as the SkillBridge Program. This award is not just a reflection of my individual efforts, but rather a reflection of the collective strength and collaboration of our team!”
Where does your enthusiasm for veteran advocacy resonate from?
“Veterans and military spouses hold a special place in my heart and mind. Their selfless decision to serve our nation through military service or supporting their partners is truly admirable. As a veteran with 22 years of military service, I share a unique bond with these individuals and consider them my military family. It brings me great joy to assist them in their transition from active-duty service to civilian careers and to connect them with a team that understands their experiences and challenges.
“At HII Mission Technologies, we are fortunate to have many teammates who have also served, and we strive to create a supportive environment that eases the transition process. I am grateful for the opportunity to give back to those who have given so much to our country.”
