Newport News Shipbuilding Employee Appreciation Week is March 1-8. The five elements of well-being – career, social, physical, financial and community – will be highlighted throughout the week of events, activities and initiatives.
Shipbuilders can expect:
- Our annual employee well-being day in partnership with QuadMed at the HII Family Health Center.
- In-person financial literacy education in partnership with Bayport Credit Union.
- Career growth and development lunch and learns with in-person resume writing and interviewing seminars and speed mentoring.
- Opportunities to get involved in community service initiatives.
- Employee engagement pop-up events throughout the yard and off-campus as well as NNS Spirit Day.
