I’m a second-generation shipbuilder. My dad and brother both work here, too. As a kid, I grew up taking things apart, like old TVs and radios and building things from nothing. I had the privilege to ride on the New Jersey (SSN 796) sea trials. It was one heck of an experience. To be able to see it being built from the ground up, assisting with troubleshooting, seeing it being finished then riding it, it’s been amazing. My next goal is to become a supervisor. I really like working around people and teaching other shipbuilders.
