Mission Technologies employees in Warner Robins, Georgia, recently enjoyed a team outing at a Macon Mayhem minor league hockey game.
“To increase engagement, we started off with something small,” said Jeffrey Showalter, leader of the Weapon Systems Operations portfolio in Mission Technologies’ All-Domain Operations group. “This initiative is something we’d like to evolve based on feedback and participation.”
The Warner Robins team, comprising engineers, analysts and designers, works on various projects, including reverse engineering and obsolescent parts solutions. They also handle technical data packages, engineering reviews, reliability programs and logistics support. The designer team is proficient in converting 2D structural drawings into 3D HTML formats for exploded views and creating new 2D drawings for TDPs.
“Given the unique construct of our team’s work locations, which include multiple offices and remote employees, face-to-face interactions are infrequent,” said Rebecca Freeman, an administrative assistant. “This event provided a valuable opportunity for employees to engage with one another and foster camaraderie. By stepping outside the office environment, everyone was able to leave work thoughts behind and build relationships in a relaxed setting. The evening was filled with laughter and memories, significantly strengthening team bonds.”
