HII reported third quarter financial results on Oct. 31. Mission Technologies accounted for $709 million of HII’s $2.7 billion in revenue—an increase of 3.5% for the division over the same period in 2023.
Segment operating margin for the division also increased from 3.5% in the third quarter of 2023 to 4.7% in the same quarter of 2024.
HII President and CEO Chris Kastner highlighted Mission Technologies’ “strong performance” on the earnings call, noting the division’s “14% revenue growth year-to-date over 2023 and a third quarter funded book-to-bill of 2.2.”
