“When I was hired as a shipfitter in 1978, I never imagined I would have the opportunities I have had. My Dad worked here, and his words of advice to me were ‘When asked to do something new, never say no.’ I have worked with my tools, become an instructor, supported operations at the Savannah River and Kesselring sites, and worked many christenings and other special events. But the most enjoyable thing is the many great friendships I have here. Working with so many different folks has been remarkable. I could never have been successful in my career without them.”
