“I did eight years in the Army as a human resource specialist. This is a totally different world, and I love welding, being hands-on. I especially enjoyed welding in the Virginia-class program. I got to weld on a sail for one of the subs, and it was an interesting challenge. My goal, though, is to be a craft instructor or teach at the welding school.”
