This morning, we released our 2025 fourth quarter and full year financial results. We reported revenue of $3.5 billion for the quarter and $12.5 billion for the full year, increases of 16% and 8% respectively. All three of our divisions reached record revenue levels and hit key milestones during the year. For complete financial results, please read our news release.
What these numbers represent are thousands of skilled shipbuilders, engineers, technologists and support professionals — all of you — who are committed to HII’s mission. Among our achievements last year:
Ingalls Shipbuilding delivered our second Flight III Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer Ted Stevens (DDG 128) to the U.S. Navy, launched and christened Jeremiah Denton (DDG 129) and authenticated the keel of Thad Cochran (DDG 135). We also christened amphibious transport dock Harrisburg (LPD 30) and began fabrication of Philadelphia (LPD 32). Our team signed a memorandum of agreement with HD Hyundai Heavy Industries to explore opportunities to collaborate on accelerating ship production, and we were selected by the U.S. Navy to design and build the FF(X) frigate.
Mission Technologies secured a $147 million contract to provide shipboard and shore-based combat training services for the U.S. Navy. We also received a multiple-award contract to deliver live training capabilities for the U.S. Army’s Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation. We hit several key milestones involving our REMUS line of unmanned underwater vehicles, including the production of the 750th REMUS, and we unveiled the ROMULUS family of unmanned surface vessels, powered by
HII’s Odyssey Autonomous Control System (ACS) software suite.
Newport News Shipbuilding delivered Virginia-class submarine Massachusetts (SSN 798) to the U.S. Navy and the bow of the first ballistic missile submarine District of Columbia (SSBN 826) to our teaming partner General Dynamics Electric Boat. We also celebrated the keel laying of Virginia-class submarine Barb (SSN 804) and launched Arkansas (SSN 800). We closed on the acquisition of South Carolina advanced manufacturing facility assets and began work at Newport News Shipbuilding – Charleston Operations. We were awarded a contract modification for construction of two additional Block V Virginia-class submarines, and we successfully installed the first valve manifold assembly created by additive manufacturing technology on a new construction aircraft carrier.
Ahead in 2026 we will build on our momentum with respect to increased hiring, retention, and proficiency levels within our workforce. Every improvement in our operations, every efficiency we unlock, every day we reduce from a schedule, translates directly into capability our customers urgently need and can deploy to protect American interests.
