Dear HII Team,

I am pleased to announce that Ryan Duffy, NNS’s business management director for New Carrier Construction and In-Service Aircraft Carrier programs, will become Hll’s assistant treasurer for banking and capital markets, reporting to me.

Ryan’s shipyard career began in 2009 in the company’s finance organization. Since then, he has held diverse positions of increasing responsibility throughout Business Management, including business manager for both the John F, Kennedy (CVN 79) and Columbia programs.

Over the past 15 years, Ryan has consistently demonstrated a commitment to excellence. His in-depth experience includes supporting the spin-off and formulation of Huntington Ingalls Industries in 2011; leading the stand-up of all financial modeling/ analytical processes and tools for the Columbia-class submarine program; and most recently serving as the corporate treasury manager of banking and capital markets.

Ryan is a two-time recipient of the NNS President’s Model of excellence award – first in 2020 for his contributions to the Columbia Build I .contract negotiation – and again this year for the CVN 79 post shakedown availability acceleration contract modification. Ryan graduated from the College of William & Mary in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in finance and an MBA in 2015. He is also a 2022 graduate of NNS’ Advanced Development Program (ADP).
