Team,

As HII has grown, so has the number of places where great information lives. Now we’re bringing all of it together!

Meet HII Homeport, our new enterprise intranet. It’s one home for company news, policies, tools, and resources from across HII.

Once everyone is on Homeport, here’s what changes for you:

• One place to look. Policies, forms, benefits information, and links to the systems you use every day, all organized the same way no matter which division you’re in.
• News you can trust. Official updates from leadership and across the company, all current and in one spot. Shown here is the Enterprise Hub page, featuring announcements from the CEO and other news.
• Easier to find people and answers. You can quickly see who does what and get answers to common HR and IT questions on your own. One example: corporate functions each have their own pages on the Enterprise Hub. HII’s Government & Customer Relations team has built out their pages as shown here – great work by that team, and thank you!
• A clearer view of HII. You’ll see what colleagues at our shipyards and our technology teams are building, not just the work happening in your own corner.
• We’re rolling out Homeport in phases, and you’ll have access over the coming months and your team will be notified when it’s your turn. Until then, current sites will stay in place, so nothing will disappear on you overnight.

Take a look around once you’re in, and tell us what’s working and what isn’t by emailing us at HII_Communications@hii-co.com. A homeport is where the fleet comes back to. This will be yours!
