I am pleased to announce that applications for the 2024-2025 HII Scholarship Fund are now open – these funds are for your dependent children in college or trades education, as well as pre-kindergarten school readiness programs.

This program is a shining example of the company’s commitment to you and your families, to the value of education, and to the future of our company and our country. Therefore I strongly encourage you to take advantage of this unique opportunity at HII, to invest in your children’s education and futures.

In 2016, the HII Scholarship Fund was established to serve HII employees and their families. Over the past seven years HII has awarded more than $3 million in scholarship awards — with the goal of continuing to award 100 new scholarships each year.

Practical details:

• These financial scholarships are for your dependent children enrolled in post-secondary college or trades education (2- or 4-year programs) or in pre-kindergarten school readiness programs.
• Children of all HII employees are eligible to apply, with the exception of children of senior executives and those employees who have been with the company for less than two years. The selection process is independent of HII and based on academic scholarship. No employee or officer of HII will play a part in the selection process.
• Deadline: Applications must be completed and submitted by 4 p.m. Eastern time/3 p.m. Central on Tuesday, April 16.
