Did you know HII doesn’t automatically know if you are a veteran or not? You have the choice to disclose it. The self-ID survey is a fast, easy way to confidentially self-disclose your veteran status; this is the same mechanism for sharing your disability status.

As a federal contractor, HII is required to invite you to self-identify — but for us, this is more important than “checking the box.” Responses to this survey will help us better understand your needs and make policy based on the realities of our teams.

This is an important time to disclose or update your status in a completely voluntary and confidential manner.

NNS and Ingalls: you will receive an email from Gallup (support@mail.gallup.com). The link is approved for you to open and participate. Employees without computer access will have the opportunity to participate with their crew during work hours, using their MyID via mobile device or in one of the survey centers set up across the shipyards.

MT: Employees with a company email address will receive the survey invitation to their email address from Gallup. Employees without a company email address will receive a letter with instructions to complete the survey. The survey site can be accessed via any device with internet access or the TechKnow app.

Corp: you will receive an email from Gallup (support@mail.gallup.com). The link is approved for you to open and participate.
