Saturday was a fantastic celebration of HII pride in our advanced shipbuilding capabilities and technologies, as well as the company’s commitment to supporting the Naval Academy.

Throughout the day, HII’s dedication to the U.S. Navy, the Naval Academy, and the future leaders of the Navy and Marine Corps was prominently displayed. Andy Green, HII executive vice president and president of Mission Technologies, was honored to receive the game ball from Navy Athletic Director Chet Gladchuk while HII employees from all three business divisions who are Naval Academy alumni were recognized. This moment underscored the strong bond between HII and the Navy community, a relationship founded on shared values of dedication, innovation, and service.

Beyond the exciting gameplay, HII created an unforgettable experience for midshipmen and fans. Thousands of attendees wore foam hats shaped like our iconic aircraft carriers, DDGs and submarines, adding a fun and creative touch that highlighted our shipbuilding legacy during a nationally televised event. The high viewership of the game offered a unique platform for HII to boost brand visibility and engagement, driving traffic to HII.com and our social media channels.

Game day was a tremendous success, and HII is proud to have supported the Navy Midshipmen in celebrating their victory.
