August is Ethics and Compliance Awareness Month and I want to reaffirm a core truth: Nothing is more important than ethical conduct in every interaction, inside and outside HII.
Our work directly supports national security and the safety of those who serve our country. Ethical behavior isn’t just about following rules — it’s about doing the right thing, even when no one is watching.
Compliance may not always be visible, but it’s everywhere: in how we manage data, honor contracts, and safeguard sensitive information. It protects our reputation, reduces risk, and strengthens trust with our customers and stakeholders.
If you ever suspect a violation of our Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, speak up — whether to your manager, Human Resources, a business conduct officer, or through our OpenLine. HII does not tolerate retaliation against those who report concerns or cooperate in good faith.
