Dear HII Employees,
I am pleased to announce that applications for the 2025-2026 HII Scholarship Fund are now open, marking a decade of serving our employees’ families’ educational needs. We believe that by supporting your children’s education we are investing both in their future success, and in that of our nation’s future workforce.
Since the HII Scholarship Fund was established in 2016, HII has awarded 1,555 scholarships, totaling more than $4.2 million. Our goal continues to be to award 100 new scholarships each year.
Practical details:
- These financial scholarships are for your dependent children who either:
- Plan to enroll for the entire upcoming academic year in full-time undergraduate studies at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school in the U.S. or Canada.
- Will be enrolled for the entire upcoming academic year in a reputable, tuition-based school readiness program, licensed to do business in the respective state.
- New this year: The age range for pre-kindergarten school readiness programs has been expanded to children 3 to 5 years of age.
- Children of all HII employees are eligible to apply, except for children of senior executives and employees who have been with the company for less than two years.
- The selection process is administered by Scholarship America and is independent of HII. No employee or officer of HII plays a part in the selection process.
- Deadline: Applications must be completed and submitted by 4 p.m. EDT/3 p.m. CDT on Tuesday, April 15.
